From July 1, the ILLICO 3 bus line of the Yélo network will extend its service to the Simone Veil Parking-and-ride facility, located in Aytré, on the outskirts of La Rochelle. This free parking is an ideal option for getting to the Minimes district.

Travel by bus

With a bus every 15 minutes from Monday to Saturday for this summer (between 10 to 15 minutes during the school term) and a timetable of 5:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., users will no longer have to wait long to reach their destination. This extension of the ILLICO 3 line will greatly facilitate access to tourist facilities, such as the Maritime Museum and the Aquarium of La Rochelle, thus attracting many tourists for day visits.

Good to know

The ILLICO lines are fast bus lines that connect the city center of La Rochelle, dense neighborhoods, major areas of interest in the area (shopping centers, etc.) and park-and-ride areas.
They run from 5:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, and from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays.

A year-round connection for workers and students

Workers in the Minimes district will also benefit from this service, as will students at the start of the school year. In fact, they will be able to reach the Technoforum in less than 10 minutes. And why not take advantage of this new service to go to the cinema?

Need to go to the Old Port?

Line 19 Salles-sur-Mer – La Jarne Dames Blanches completes the ILLICO 3 line offering by offering a bus every 30 minutes during rush hour from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. all year round.

The journey is included in the Yélo bus subscription, while it costs €1.50 full price and €1.20 post-payment with Yélo Futé.
