Algerian midfielder Lille OSC Nabil Bentaleb could end his career, according to RMC Sport. The latter was the victim of illness several days ago. It was actually a cardiac arrest.

An end of career for Nabil Bentaleb? This is what indicates RMC Sport this Thursday, June 27. The Losc midfielder was taken ill on Tuesday, June 18 and was hospitalized. Soon to return home, the Algerian could however be forced to end his career.
Cardiac arrest ?
Always according to RMC Sport, the discomfort mentioned by the club during the midfielder’s hospitalization was in reality a cardiac arrest. The facts allegedly took place during a five in which the player participated. A cardiac defibrillator would have been necessary to revive the player, who would have spent several days in an artificial coma.
RMC Sport indicates that his medical file must be sent to the medical commission of the FFF (French Football Federation), which will have to decide on a possible return, or not, of Bentaleb to the Ligue 1 fields. He is under contract until 2026 with the Dogues de Lille.
