Strong tropical storm Bheki is rapidly approaching Mauritius and Island. It is now moving at 19 km/h in a West-South-West direction. It was located, this Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 4:42 a.m., by the points 18.8° South and 64.4 East, in the East-North-East of the island at 935 km. It should still lose intensity during the day.

Bheki became a strong tropical storm again. It passed approximately 200 km north of Rodrigues Island during the night. It continues its route in the West-South-West direction at 19 km/h. The system was located at 4:42 a.m. this Wednesday morning, in the East-North-East, 935 km from the Reunion coast.

It will move closer to Mauritius and Reunion Island while losing intensity. Heavy rain, strong winds and dangerous seas are expected by Mauritian meteorologists during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.
