A family and artistic adventure
Aurélie Dirheimer, passionate about ceramics for more than ten years, decided to leave everything to devote herself fully to her art. In 2020, with her husband Yann, she bought his family home in Hyères and set up her workshop there, The Potter. Surrounded by a magnificent garden planted with pine and olive trees, this place invites creativity and serenity!
Unique and natural creations
Aurélie mainly works on artistic pieces such as ceramic lighting. She uses various modeling and turning techniques, as well as mixed earths to give her works a mineral and organic appearance. The marbled colors and raw textures of her creations add a natural and unique touch to each room.
Various courses and workshops
La Potière offers a wide range of courses and workshops this summer. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced ceramist, you will find an activity that suits your desires. The immersive 4 to 5 day courses allow you to immerse yourself in the world of ceramics and discover all the stages of creation, from turning to modeling. You can also participate in thematic workshops led by other local artists, such as the creation of ceramic brooches or aperitif sets.

Taking part in La Potière courses is above all living a unique sensory experience. You will learn to connect to the material and refine your gestures while enjoying the soothing setting of the house and its garden.
