The Fismes hospital center () made headlines after offering a controversial competition. According to The Parisianthis allowed you to win a garnished basket, provided you were vaccinated.

Faced with criticism generated by its initiative, the Marne hospital decided to suspend its golden syringe competition. According to the establishment, it was a communication campaign to encourage vaccination, even if the form was “inappropriate”.

The anti-vaxxers react quickly

RN MEP Virginie Joran posted a message on social networks in which she ironically claimed to have “believed it was a Gorafi joke” upon seeing this competition at the Fismes hospital. The competition in question allowed a person being vaccinated against Covid-19 or the flu to win a Fossier garnished basket (a biscuit factory in ) worth 100 euros, after a draw.

Even if rumors of a “fake” poster have been launched, it is indeed a creation of the hospital establishment, which wanted to appear “original”. It will at least have had the merit of getting people talking, at a time when flu vaccinations are becoming fewer. In any case, the vaccination campaign continues, unlike the communication campaign.
