Quinté+ from June 28, 2024 in Vincennes: In-depth analysis of the Prix Nemausa

Good evening to all horse racing enthusiasts! It’s Jean Turfiste who speaks to you live from the Vincennes racecourse for today’s Quinté+, the Prix Nemausa. This race promises to be thrilling with 16 starters ready to do battle on the 2100 meters of the big track. Buckle up, it’s going to be amazing!

Presentation of Vincennes

The Vincennes racecourse, a true temple of trotting, is hosting a tough event this evening. The track is in perfect condition and with the summer temperatures, we can expect great times. The autostart departure will give rise to an intense spectacle from the first meters. The horses will have to show their basic speed while saving resources for the final package.

Analysis of the starters

1 – EDGAR SABA

This Eric Bondo resident is in great shape as shown by his recent victory at Enghien. With four outings this year for a success and three runner-up places, he has proven his consistency at the highest level. The number 1 behind the autostart can be an advantage if he starts well. Gelormini knows his horse perfectly and will know how to get the best out of him. A very serious candidate for victory.

2 – HOLIDAY

Representative of the famous Bazire stable, this trotter progresses with each outing. His last victory at Feurs was convincing. Unshod on all four feet and ideally placed behind the car, it has all the assets to shine. Nicolas Bazire is a talented driver who will know how to place it best. A quality outsider not to be overlooked.

3 – DYLAN DOG FONT

This Italian horse returns in great shape after a successful campaign in his country. He already distinguished himself on this course last December, beating quality competitors. Eric Raffin is a leading driver who knows the Vincennes track perfectly. This pair has the means to win this evening.

4 – JINGLE LOVER

Regular competitor, Jingle Lover remains on good performance. He performed well on his last outing on this course. Franck Nivard is an experienced driver who will know how to best place him in the peloton. Without being a potential winner, he can aim for a place in the quinté.

5 – KYOTO DIGEO

Author of a resounding return to school on May 15 in Vincennes, Kyoto Digeo has the means to confirm. Unshod on all four feet, he should still progress. Laurent-Michel David appears confident and knows his student perfectly. This is my basis for this quinté, I see it capable of imposing itself.

6 – IF MAZA

This Dutch trotter is in great shape as proven by his recent successes at Wolvega. He has run well on this track in the past. Although a category amount, it should not be condemned too quickly. An interesting outsider for daring bettors.

7 – DRAGOWSKI

Despite unflattering music, Dragowski showed some good things recently in Enghien. If he starts well, he can create a surprise. Pierre-Yves Verva is a good driver who knows his horse well. A chance for the big outsiders.

8 – PADD JAZZ

A specialist in speed courses, Jazz de Padd has the means to do well. He continues to perform well and particularly appreciates this track. Matthieu Abrivard is an excellent driver who will know how to place it best despite his outside number. A serious candidate for places.

9 – Jasper Piaya

This resident of Laurent-Claude Abrivard makes his return after a long absence. His last outing at Enghien was correct but nothing more. Alexandre Abrivard is an excellent driver who could get the most out of it. However, his outside number does not benefit him. A secondary chance to watch closely.

10 – DAMASCO EFFESSE

The least wealthy of the lot, Damasco Effesse will have a lot to do in this competition. His last outings are unconvincing with numerous disqualifications. Despite the talent of his driver Marco Minopoli Jr, he seems to have a complicated task this evening. A very uncertain outsider.

11 – FIORANO

This Italian trotter has great references in his country. He faced quality horses and did well. His last outing at Vincennes was disappointing, but he can redeem himself here. Benjamin Rochard is a good driver who could put him into orbit. An outsider not to be overlooked.

12 – DANUBE

Eric Bondo’s third asset in the race, Danubio seems a step below his stablemates. His last outings are unconvincing and he is moving up the category here. Anthony Collette will do his best, but the task promises to be difficult. An outsider who will have difficulty getting involved in the final fight.

13 – DEXTER ORS

Surprise winner at Enghien in March, Dexter Ors has not confirmed since. He remains disqualified but finished well at the time of his fault. Bertrand Piton is an experienced driver who knows the track well. A theoretical chance for daring bettors.

14 – JAMES MADRIK

Back after a long absence, James Madrik made a discreet return to Angers. Mathieu Mottier unshoes him on all four feet for the first time, which is a positive sign. This horse behind in winnings could create a surprise. An interesting outsider to include in expanded combinations.

15 – EK DEL RONCO

This second asset of Holger Klaus Ehlert shows a certain regularity. His last outing was correct behind Edgar Saba. However, his outside number and his lack of experience on the speed courses at Vincennes are handicaps. A secondary chance which could create a surprise.

16 – DIAPASON

Diapason has not shone during his last outings. Dominik Locqueneux, his trainer, thinks he doesn’t like running unshod. With the 16 on the outside and only bare hindquarters, his task looks complicated. An outsider who will need a golden career to hope to do well.
