The Rotary year ends, and as tradition dictates, the Handover took place Tuesday, June 18, in the circle premises.

Under the presidency of the 2023-2024 Governor of District 1710, Alain Bouvard, Dominique Lefevre-Ravat was renewed in her role as president. “Repeating is a big first in our club,” she explains.

Dominique Lefevre-Ravat wishes to continue to respect the motto of Rotary (Serve first) and continue his work around the seven axes of Rotary (peace, prevention and treatment of diseases, water, sanitation and hygiene, maternal and child health, literacy and basic education, economic development and the environment).

For this it will be able to count on 44 members including seven women, with an average age of less than 50 years. “We have young professionals who do not yet know the workings of Rotary well but who have energy and new ideas,” says the president.

Rotary is becoming more feminine because four women will now be at the head of the Roanne section. There is therefore the elected president for 2025-2026 but also Patricia Fleury, the secretary, Corinne Charrière and for protocol Emmanuelle Fournel. A freelance nurse by profession, Dominique Lefevre-Ravat is very close to people, one of the great values of Rotary.

All the flagship actions will be renewed under the new presidency as well as the Ferrari operation which is becoming an important action. A future theater festival is in preparation for the second quarter of 2025.
