A young man was seriously injured by a gunshot and a stab during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in Rennes, near the Italy shopping center in the Blosne district. The alert was given around 2 a.m. by a resident who heard an explosion. Law enforcement and emergency services quickly arrived on site.
The victim, a young man born in 2001, was found with a gunshot wound to the right tibia with an open fracture and a stab wound to the left thigh. However, his vital prognosis is not in jeopardy. According to the first elements of the investigation, the young man was the victim of an attack clearly linked to drug trafficking.
“After the attack, he took refuge in a kebab shop at the end of the glass roof of the shopping center” indicates - Rennes.
The victim was transported to Rennes University Hospital to receive treatment. An investigation under the classification of attempted murder was opened and entrusted to the Specialized Organized Crime Directorate (DCOS) of the national police.
