It is often said that the sport was born in England in the 18th century. But much older literature provides information on the origins of what we today call “physical”, even artistic, activity, and on the know-how necessary for these practices. Today sport is no longer reserved for one category of the population as it was for a long time. For more than a hundred years, it has irrigated the different strata of society. He has even become one of the revealers of the political struggles which agitate our societies and which literature bears witness to. Through performances articulating text, bodies and sporting gestures, student actors explore different texts around sport, from the 17th century to the present day. Within the same team on stage, their fellow musicians play with them, on ancient, modern and contemporary repertoires.
