The dance school “The Dancing Moons”, in partnership with the association “Le Trait et l’orchidée”, will present the show “Pluriel.les”, on Saturday June 29, 2024, at 8 p.m., at Mac Orlan, in Brest. Performed by 25 students, it will highlight high-heeled dancing and other varieties.
“We will celebrate, with our guests, Angelo Abanolo, Sédina Diouf and Lou Mulpas Fernandez, the plurality of styles and talents, but also of bodies, origins and genders. Our creation offers a true visual feast, starting with the discovery of high-heeled dance performances combining grace, fluidity, elegance, attitude, balance and power. We are happy to highlight “heels dance”, a mix of jazz and street, it’s ultra feminine but of course open to men,” explains Lily Soreau, Latin dance teacher.
Whirlwind of movements, emotions and universes
The whirlwind of movements, emotions and universes will continue with street jazz in its feminine and light expression animated by a raw, intense and flamboyant energy. Finally, the contemporary lyrical will conclude the performances around a fusion of classical and contemporary techniques. The spectator will see the movement tell a poetic story around modern expressiveness
