“Vice-versa 2” triumphs at the Quimper box office with 3,836 admissions at the end of the week of June 19 to 25. By adding the 620 spectators of the preview the previous week, the animated film already has 4,456 admissions in eight days of operation. A significantly better start than that of “Vice-versa” which was seen by 1,167 spectators from June 17 to 23, 2015. Incidentally, “Vice-versa 2” puts an end to the seven-week supremacy of the triumphant “Un p’ tit truc en plus”, seen by 1,553 spectators in the eighth week, representing a cumulative total of 22,670 admissions to date.
At a much more modest level, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” slipped from second to third place with 327 entries. “Planet of the Apes: The New Kingdom” follows ahead of newcomer “The Bikeriders” (195 tickets sold) which completes the first third of the Top 15.
“Survive”, “Maria” and “Fairy tail 100 years quest: on the road to the 100 year quest”, other releases of the week, display 195, 155 and 67 entries respectively. Much lower still, “The Summer with Carmen” (51 entries), “Out of Time” (49) and “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Star” (43) start on tiptoe.
In the end, 8,109 moviegoers (7,149 at Cinéville, 960 at Katorza) crossed the threshold of the city’s cinemas during the week, an increase of almost 11% compared to the previous figure.
