At the age of 11, Fiora Garenzi was passionate about photography. After a Bachelor in photography then studies in languages, history of the Arab world and geopolitics, she began working in 2018 as a documentary photographer and photojournalist on personal projects mainly in Europe and in the countries of the Arab world. In February 2022, she left for Ukraine where she made a documentary on the civilians of Donbass in the war and a second on a military unit. During this report, she narrowly escaped an explosion caused by a missile, but she lost all her equipment. Obtaining the Vocation Prize allows him to re-equip himself and embark on new projects of which there are many. The exhibition presented should take us to distant horizons, to an isolated region where Fiora Garenzi plans to produce her next photojournalism in early 2024. Mystery ! To be continued…
