In Breteuil (Eure), it was a special ceremony on November 11. To commemorate the victory and peace of November 11, 1918, two Hairy honored the town with their presence during the laying of wreaths.

Bernard Bourlier et Florian Maillard had put on a real outfit to honor the many soldiers who died for our freedom.

The duty to remember for future generations

The primary school students, always faithful, sang the Marseillaise, accompanied by their teacher. This duty of remembrance must now be transmitted by young people, which is what Florian, standard bearer since the age of 7, is doing, to whom it was given the medal of merit of the CPG CATM association.

This ceremony ended at the Korian retirement home city in green, labeled “bleet of ” and “where we are always very well received”, note Nicole Laurent of the Veterans Association. A friendly drink closed this event in the presence of Gérard Chéronmayor of Breteuil.
