Carefully selected by Bettane+Desseauve, the great wine estates of France and elsewhere will take over the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, on November 29 and 30.
It is one of the events eagerly awaited by lovers of great wines. The Grand Tasting is coming to Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre, on November 29 and 30, for its 19th edition.
Since its launch in 2006, it has applied the same recipe: the major French and foreign vineyard estates selected by Bettane+Desseauve offer a unique location to discover their vintages. Armed with a Riedel glass, we wander the aisles to meet these men and women who devote their lives to wine.
In total, 250 producers are present to introduce nearly 1,200 wines.
The Grand Tasting is also a whole series of masterclasses lasting from 45 minutes to 2 hours, to taste rare wines commented by those who are at the origin.
For example, the Bouchard Père et Fils house allows you to learn about the famous Cortan grand cru through several vintages. Saturday morning, Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve host Le Génie du Vin to talk about wines “that we rarely see or drink”.
