Did you expect it? The 8th edition of the Nantes Maker Campus is coming. Get ready, it’s happening from July 5 to 7 at the island’s machines, and it promises to be crazy! This year, more than 500 makers, 15 guest artists, and 50 interactive workshops await you for a unique experience. If you don’t know, it’s the biggest event at the crossroads of arts and technology bringing together the best makers in France. In short, it’s works or inventions, workshops, conferences, and plenty to keep you busy!

The unmissable event for creativity, innovation and DIY

Whether you are curious, passionate about technology or a lover of crafts, you have to go to the Nantes Maker Campus! For 3 days, immerse yourself in an abundant universe where technology meets craftsmanship. Discover workshops, conferences, demonstrations and exhibitions highlighting the latest trends in digital manufacturing, connected objects, robotics, visual arts and much more. And the Bonus, there is something for all ages!

To whet your appetite, we’re going to introduce you to 3 makers who will be present at the event from July 5 to 7, so don’t move!

Earth Tower

Mosaic, ceramics, modeling, turning, it’s his hobby! She offers the public her art of making instruments, with surprising shapes! Already present last year, Yunie repeated the experience and returns this year for new adventures. It therefore offers a workshop for young and old, where you will have the opportunity to make your own ceramic flute. At the end of the production, a participatory concert is organized with the instruments made during the workshop. Great, right?

Kie Creator

Jean François Devaux, aka “Kie Creator” on social networks, is a Maker who combines 3D printing, painting of figurines, manufacturing with a laser cutter and digital milling machine, the creation of paintings in upcycling mode, and decoration in polystyrene. Passionate about video games, mangas, comics and nature, Jean-François will help you discover his world through a workshop!!

OwLab Project

OWLAB-Project was created to modernize the learning of anatomy and biology. This educational engineering laboratory offers schools, teachers and students 3D printed anatomy parts. In partnership with Marie-Pascale Gautheron, Owlab will present to you a work that they created together: a giant skull decorated by the artist! Owlab will also present their life-size tiger! You will be amazed!
