A summer day, a hilly, tiring and demanding circuit worthy of this Championship which offered a superb panorama of the surrounding countryside, and a flawless organization with 70 volunteers all responsible for well-defined missions, contributed to the complete success of this day. Ideal conditions for the 220 runners entered from 11 departments of Occitanie divided by age categories over 15 races which took place all day. They fought hard to take on the coveted Regional Champion jersey and the ascent of the famous climb of Saint-Vincent Lespinasse, more than 1K long, was the Justice of the Peace. They also offered great sporting emotions to the large audience. An honorable participation in this Regional Championship of a very high general level for the 4 Valencians involved who suffered but resisted well. – Adrien Bongiovanni finished 11th in 17-19 years old. – 19th place for Raphaël Bouard in 50-59 years. – 17th place for our Departmental Champion Jean-Michel Sekula and 30th place for Jean-Claude Chabourlin in 60 years and over.
