During the night from Saturday to Sunday, across the four corners of Haute-Loire, five accidents required the intervention of Altiligère firefighters. The first of the evening occurred around 8 p.m., in Monastier-sur-Gazeille and concerned a 72-year-old woman who was traveling on the RD500. She was transported in an emergency to the CHER (Émile-Roux Hospital Center), in Puy-en-Velay.
Simultaneous accidents
At 10 p.m., it was in Esplantas-Vazeilles (near Saugues), this time, that the firefighters were called to rescue a 20-year-old young woman, following a car accident. Twenty minutes later, a new incident broke out in Emblavez. A 21-year-old woman left the road while driving on Avenue de la Résistance, in Lavoûte-sur-Loire. Both were taken, without seriousness, to the Puy hospital to carry out additional examinations.
Then, around 3 a.m., two shocks occurred six minutes apart. The first, in Lamothe (Brivadois), concerned a 58-year-old motorist, who was transported to the Brioude hospital center. The second, in Grèzes (at the gates of Lozère), concerned a young woman of 18 years old. The firefighters transported him to CHER in relative urgency.
Be careful
If the exact circumstances of these events remain to be defined, the gendarmerie supports it: “We have had an increase in accidents since the return of the cold, motorists really need to be careful, the roads are slippery, especially at night. »
