Mercato. At the end of his contract, Pape Gueye formalizes his departure from Olympique de Marseille

At the end of his contract on June 30 with Olympique de Marseille, Pape Gueye formalized his departure from the Marseille club on his Instagram account this Monday, June 24. Since his arrival from Le Havre in 2020, the Senegalese international has played 115 matches, in all competitions, on the Canebière.

In his publication, Pape Gueye warmly thanked the welcome of Marseille supporters. “People of Marseille, four years ago, I arrived young from Ligue 2 with stars in my eyes to discover Olympique de Marseille. You accepted me right away. I experienced my first minutes in the French elite alongside you, realizing my childhood dream by participating in the Champions League. Yes, there were complicated moments, but your unfailing support, especially at the Vélodrome, will leave me with unforgettable memories. I thank all the players, coaches, technical staff and employees that I was able to meet during my stay. And of course you, dear supporters, known throughout the world. »
