Envie d’Agir travels to the town of Montfermeil to attend a colorful parade. Present since 2005, this ode to fashion brings together all residents regardless of their origin or nationality. Jaleh Bradea sets out to meet these actors of diversity to understand the genesis of this artistic and cultural success.
For this exceptional evening, Jaleh Bradea collects testimonies from Xavier Lemoigne, mayor of Montfermeil, as well as Damien Crozet, participant and psychiatrist, and Marie Bigot, former young talent of the parade. Together, these actors express themselves on the necessity of the parade in order to unite a cosmopolitan city. The Montfermeil Cultures and Creations Parade fits into the customs of the inhabitants and strengthens social bonds.
Sponsored by LVMH, the event celebrates diversity around fashion. Nearly 250 participants gather and parade on the stage of Domaine Formigé. On the program, representation in traditional costumes from the four corners of the globe and creation on a unique imposed theme each year! Amateurs, young couture talents or models, everyone can find their place at the Montfermeil fashion show.
