Update with Elise Leclercq

Flagship animation of the summer, Abbeville Beach will once again settle in Porte du Bois from July 12 to August 15 with its children’s play area, its inflatable structures, its beach soccer fields, beach volleyball and its mini golf course. Many activities are offered daily from toddlers to teenagers.

Great party weekend too July 13 and 14 with entertainment, concerts, fireworks and firefighters’ ball.

It will also be the return of night markets, Friday evening, Place Max Lejeune. You will find local producers in a musical atmosphere.

Several guided tours are also planned throughout the summer: heritage visits or nature outings.

And then there are also the famous taverns in the Carmel gardens, Thursdays or Wednesday afternoons.

Another highlight of summer: Intercommunal Games from July 8 to 23 where, like the Olympic Games, young people from across the city will compete in 26 disciplines. Abbeville organizes aquatic events at the Aqu’Abb and hockey events at the Platanes city stadium. It is on this city stadium that will also take place “We’re going to the Olympics” day, on July 10 with demonstrations and initiations of several disciplines. Finally another event not to be missed broadcast on giant screen of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on Friday July 26 on the new square in the Soleil Levant district.
