33 days before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, sport was in the spotlight this Sunday in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, in the form of an Olympic Day which brought together 35 clubs and associations. That’s almost 550 participants.
It is within the framework of the “Terre de Jeux 2024” label that this Deodatian day under the sign of Olympism was organized. On the program for this highlight of Summer in a big way: a parade through rue Thiers starting from Place du Général-de-Gaulle, then demonstrations and introductions to multiple sports at Parc Jean-Mansuy. From kayaking to tennis, including basketball, boxing, football and volleyball. The plurality of sports represented and the large number of participants in this Olympic Day show, once again, that Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is definitely a sporting city.
