2023-24 season: LOSC well ranked, fifth training center in Ligue 1

This Friday, June 21, the French Football Federation published the results of its annual evaluation of training centers in France. LOSC is doing well.

As every year for the past four years, the effectiveness of the training centers of Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and National clubs is evaluated on the basis of five criteria by the French Football Federation. From these, a ranking is then established at each level of French football. Sixth last season, LOSC shines again and sees its training center take fifth position (out of the 18 in Ligue 1) of approved training centers for the 2023-24 season. The Lille team, ahead of Stade Rennais, OL, Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco, performs at all levels, with the exception of schooling, a point on which it only received two stars and a half.

Reminder of the criteria evaluated:

  • professionalization (U16 to U23 under professional contract)
  • playing time in the first team of the training club
  • national selections (international matches contested by players, without distinction of nation)
  • schooling (diplomas obtained during the previous season)
  • European representation (players from clubs with points in the UEFA ranking, with training agreement of at least one year).
