Income, cash flow aid, simplification, EU-Mercosur agreement… The birds hide to die, not the farmers… The fight continues! We don't give up ! Isarian farmers, get ready…”, they wrote in a post published on Facebook.

Already at the beginning of October, farmers began to remove town entrance signs. Farmers could submit them to the Departmental Directorate of Territories at on November 18 on the occasion of their demonstration.

With this movement, farmers denounce the agreement with Mercosur (economic alliance of free trade with South American countries). “The agreement with Mercosur means 180,000 tonnes of poultry imported into Europe (or nearly 28% of European poultry meat imports), coming from breeding countries using growth-promoting antibiotics banned in since 2006 ! To protect French poultry, let's defend the French poultry sector against unfair competition, not respecting our production standards!
