After a second part of the season without losing a single point, the LAMVB reserve validates its rise to the Pre-national. Florian Boyenval’s players finished best second in regional 1.

Despite two defeats over the first five championship matches, the team then achieved a season exceptional by no longer losing a single match. The squad is largely made up of female players trained at the club, is particularly distinguished by its youth. The average age of the team is 18 ans. Florian Boyenval, the reserve coach of the Amiens club, confides in this feat: “The objective was to go up to Pre-national in 2 years, it is now done. We now want to settle into this new championship by trying to finish in first part table ». The LAMVB continues to promote women’s sport aheadand this from a very young age. “We also and above all reap the fruits of labor for young people. The club has invested a lot in very good educators and we are benefiting from it as seniors”.

This climb was validated by the team by reaching the second place of their hen. The best runner-up in all groups had the opportunity to join the upper division. This performance is all the more remarkable because, in Regional 1, only the first of the groups go up, while there are three descents per season. Florian Boyenval says ” We knew that we were capable of it because the group has progressed a lot this season. It should also be noted that we have been up to Hauts-de-France Cup final. Our good performances were also motivated by the fact that the Amiens Métropole team was also in our championship (it also ended the season in first place in this group with a defeat, against LAMVB)« .

Preparing for next season will undoubtedly be decisive. “We want to keep as many players as possible, we will continue to advocate the provision of training in our senior teams to develop the club. Maybe he will “We’ll have to bring a little experience with two or three arrivals, but there won’t be a need to recruit a lot.” These good results could attract certain players to the youth teams, enough to continue to feed the pool from which the club benefits. Especially since the elite senior team reached the play-offs for its first season in the biggest national championship.

The Longacois coach takes the opportunity to thank everyone involved in this performance. The team will try to continue its momentum to perform in the Pre-national next season.
