On the side of the National Rally, announcements are multiplying on the subject. The RN says it wants to reduce VAT on electricity, gas or fuels from 20% to 5.5%. “We will do it this summer, through a draft amending finance law” proclaimed the president of the far-right party, Jordan Bardella.
A measure estimated at 12 billion euros by the RN, and 17 billion euros according to Bercy.
