Around twenty or even thirty tractors are expected this Monday in Avignon. The FDSEA of Vaucluse responds to the call launched throughout France and organizes a first mobilization. Farmers will implement a blockage from 8 a.m..
Three mobilizations in three weeks
The location of the blockage point has not yet been communicated, but it is expected to seriously disrupt traffic. “This is not an action that will last over time since the objective is to do several until December. There it will be during the daye”, indicates Sophie Vache, president of the FDSEA. One mobilization per week will be organized for the next three weeks. No information has yet been communicated at this stage for the next two events. But a regional gathering cannot be ruled out.
Vaucluse farmers intend to influence the next commercial negotiations and express their disagreement with the adoption of the treaty between the European Union and the countries of Mercosur.
