A teacher from the private agricultural high school L'Oustal in Villeneuve-sur-Lot was attacked this Thursday, November 14, in the middle of the afternoon, by one of her students, a minor. According to information provided by the emergency services who took care of her, the 58-year-old victim received a blow to the sternum. Shocked, she was transported to the Villeneuvois health center.

The author, born in 2009, allegedly punched his sports teacher in the stomach during a lesson. According to students present in front of the establishment at the end of the afternoon, an altercation between two students, following teasing, would have involved the teacher, who was trying to separate them when she was hit. Others explained instead that the boy, enrolled in third grade, would have simply disrupted the PE class. The teacher then wanted to calm him down and expel him from class.

This would have prompted some insults from the teenager and, ultimately, the blow which earned him an arrest and placement in police custody by the Villeneuve-sur-Lot police officers. The defendant's hearing was to take place in the presence of his parents.
