Tourism. To save energy, this holiday village invests nearly 2 million euros

Opened in 1952, the Les Tourelles holiday village, located in Asnelles () near Bayeux, required major energy renovation work. By April 2025, 16 of the 56 rooms will be redone from floor to ceiling. Cost of the work: 1.8 million euros excluding taxes, supported to the tune of €350,000 by the Region.

This winter, backhoe loaders and craftsmen will be the only ones to occupy the Les Tourelles holiday village in Asnelles (Calvados), near Bayeux. Since the beginning of November 2024, major renovation work has been underway at this establishment founded in 1952 by the Confederation of Families.
