He has made his group a real stage war machine combining hard rock and big rock, a supercharged combo that will set the stages of the Black Pearl Festival on fire.

Friday July 5, 6:30 p.m. – Place Jean Jaurès

Qamelto

Qamelto, which means “it’s cool” in Zulu, is a rock band with dripping riffs, melodies that stick in your head and of course, spicy French lyrics that you want to scream. Discover them with their first album “Scotoma” which promises to be impactful and surprising. Sassy and sarcastic, diluting caustic punchlines in the madness of Shaka Ponk and the power of the Foo Fighters, Qamelto sends a big slap of contagious energy that makes you want to turn the other cheek.

Marlyn Band

The Marlyn Band captures the essence of Rock while bringing its personal touch tinged with blues, funk and pop. Carried by a voice as sensitive as it is powerful, where generous melodies intertwine with heady guitar riffs, each song tells you a story. The groove, the choirs and the sounds aptly accompany the different atmospheres and emotions.

With original compositions in English, the boundless energy animated by these six musicians has only one goal: to make you discover their messages on stage with sincerity.

Pipi Tornado

Inhabited by the energy of rock, this group takes inspiration from what they see fit, like 4 kids playing Lego. Their message is very clear: there is none!
Apart from an unstoppable groove and sharp guitars, the common thread is Mélodie and the tornado that she joyfully unleashes with her 3 guerrillas.
A voice that leaves you no choice, nourished by punk, rock or pop, which tells of everyday life, the absurd, nourished by disparate cinematographic references, just like the music.
The wine doesn’t matter as long as you’re drunk, for this bipolar rock between lyricism and wildness.

Saturday July 6, 6 p.m. – Parvis Moulin des Evêques

Get ready

Hataali is an alternative folk group whose music originates from indie rock and is transported to trip-hop sounds and nuevo flamenco colors.
Veronica Fe is a Franco-Colombian singer-songwriter. She writes with great sincerity melodies in three languages which awaken our innermost being and our need to escape. Her warm singing and her scratchy flights diffuse astonishing reminiscences of Alanis Morissette. With her Spanish style acoustic guitar, she rekindles in us the urgency to live with intensity and lightness.
In the rhythm section, Gérard and Christophe Seux, father and son, seal the roundness and power of the Hataali universe. They combine bass, drums and machines in a spirit of modernity in search of infra-sound, hums and murmurs.
With this trio, we are invited to cross different soundscapes, three languages and many human stories, without compromise.

Harsh

Never has a group lived up to its name so well, “Harsh”.
It is quite naturally from the intoxicating scents of a Jack Daniel’s placed in the corner of the amp, the saturated Gibsons, the leopard print leggings, the flowing makeup, and their stage verve that we guess the typically Glam style of this group young people.

Their influences? The old, worn vinyls perfumed with the scent of beer from Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue… so many references which will allow the group to share an electrifying euphoria on stage, and to directly bring us back in the golden age of the 80’s.

The group recorded its first album “Out Of Control” in March 2022. Since then, the quartet has performed concerts throughout France and internationally, opening for groups such as Anvil, The New Roses and Sortilège in Europe. ! They are finally releasing their single “Maniac” in January 2024!

Furious Zoo

Furious Zoo is the side project of singer-drummer Renaud Hantson known for his roles in the rock opera Starmania, he also played James Dean, the title role of The Legend of Jimmy, before playing Gringoire in the musical Notre-Dame de Paris, thus becoming the only former hard-rock musician to succeed in a more popular musical genre.
Defined by Michel Berger as the best singer of his generation and considered at his beginnings in Satan Jokers as the number one French rock drummer, Renaud Hantson especially takes a breath of fresh air with Furious Zoo which allows him to forget that his passion for music, no longer means much in a show business where only ratings, radio ads, and ephemeral stars reign. He wanted to rediscover the pleasure of playing melodic hard rock with titles with varied atmospheres where his voice expresses itself in nuances, between strength and finesse, in the tradition of the hero of his adolescence and friend since 1993: Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple).
This supercharged combo from Furious Zoo sets fire to each of its appearances on stage, because it combines the experience of peerless musicians and the spontaneity of a group that enjoys roaming clubs and festivals as their primary goal. is pleasure.
The group, which has become a real stage war machine, tours regularly and has ended up gaining the loyalty of a growing audience.
