Giving meaning back to work ? This will be one of the main threads of the annual forum of the social and solidarity economy (ESS) of Hautes-Alpes, Tuesday November 19 in Savines-le-Lac. It is also the title of a work co-written by Coralie Perez, economist and research engineer, and Thomas Coutrot. The author is invited for a conference, at 10 a.m., during the forum. High-Alpine ESS stakeholders are looking at “Work in all its forms”, during a day aimed both at employers in this sector and those who work in it or wish to join it.
A conference, workshops, a study on young Haut-Alpins
With the organization of the Departmental Union (Udess), participants will think about ways to adapt to new professional aspirations. This concerns as much the evolution of employees' expectations as gender equality in companies through a more cooperative organization of work or the problems of overwork (overwork, burn-out ). In short, the meaning of work. “At a time when management by numbers has invaded the private sector as well as the public service, it is crucial to question the content and purpose of our professional activities,” summarizes the publisher of Coralie Perez's book. Specific to the social and solidarity economy, the notion of voluntary work will also be discussed during this day.
In addition to the conference, seven thematic workshops, a barometer of professional development and a presentation of a study (The work aspirations of young Haut-Alpins) will punctuate the day.
