This year, the Parc du Petit Prince, located in the heart of Alsace, celebrates its 10th anniversary !

To properly celebrate this anniversary, the Park has a summer in store for its visitors punctuated with many surprises, including:

  • Exceptional evenings (birthday evening, night of shooting stars, etc.)
  • The presence of tourist sites in the region (Alsace Ecomuseum, Mulhouse Zoo, etc.)
  • New activities (historical tales, makeup workshops, laser game, etc.)

Here is the detailed information:

Parties and surprises throughout the summer at the Parc du Petit Prince

Several major events await visitors from June:
– On June 29 and 30, Carreau Rodolphe, the historic potash mining center of Alsace will be the guest of honor! Former miners are expected at the Parc du Petit Prince to tell the story of a place which owes its name and its existence to the discovery of a potash deposit at the very beginning of the 20th century. What is potash used for today, how to work it?… The youngest will even be able to learn the know-how of their elders.

– Saturday July 20: Opened just 10 years ago, in July 2014, the kingdom of dreams and poetry invites its fans to a particularly festive anniversary day punctuated by makeup sessions and intoxicating dances thanks to the sublime dancers du Paradis des Sources… At nightfall, a majestic fireworks display will be launched, for the first time, from the 4 corners of the Park before sharing the traditional birthday cake of the Little Prince => Open until 11 p.m. .

– August 3-4: the Little Prince invites the Climbing Mulhouse Center (CMC), the highest climbing gym in France, which will install an 8-meter wall in the heart of the Park to introduce budding climbers and launch a few challenges for the most informed!

– Saturday August 10: The Night of Shooting Stars returns with the famous planetologist, M.Renard, who will be in the company of his friends from the Wittelsheim Astronomy Association. The program promises to be busy with exceptional observation sessions using real professional telescopes, conferences and quizzes to understand everything about this celestial spectacle.

And for an unforgettable evening, The Little Prince invites ACROPARK, from Burnhaupt le Haut, which is organizing, this night of August 10, an incredible Laser game in the labyrinth! => Open until 11 p.m.

Finally, good news for all the children who, like the park, are celebrating their 10th birthday this year: they will be able to fully benefit from this festive program thanks to a ticket for €10 instead of €20!
