Olga GivernetMinister Delegate in charge of Energy, will go to Lussagnetin the east of the Landes, this Friday, November 15 in the morning, “for a trip dedicated to preparing the French energy system for the coming winter” explains the ministry.
On the Terega gas site
She will notably visit the underground gas storage site in Lussagnet, managed by the company Terega.
In the press release presenting this visit, we can also read that “gas storage sites are today essential to guarantee the resilience of the country's energy system in winter. This season actually corresponds to a period of greater consumption of natural gas, which requires injecting stored gas into the networks.”
Olga Givernet was appointed to this position on September 21, during the Barnier government's announcement. She is Minister Delegate toAgnès Pannier-RunacherMinister of Ecological Transition, Energy, Climate and Risk Prevention. Since 2017, she has been a deputy for the 3rd constituency of Ain.
