Rock, rap, electro festival… Several musical genres will be heard on June 21 in around ten places in Béthune. We take stock of what was organized to properly celebrate the music festival and the arrival of summer.

Rock all the way

From 5:30 p.m., you will find the Short Ideas group at LaBanque. They will perform soft rock until 7 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the groups Vend’All Rock and Interpole will cover songs from the 60s and 70s, the first group will be located at Place du 73ème and the second on the square in front of the Saint-Vaast church. At the same time, Totem will perform with the Beatles in front of the municipal theater. Finally, certain bars and shops such as the Nautilus, the Disquerie, the Vintage tatoo bar or the Banshee Rock’n Shop will also offer you the best of rock.

Rap, funk, soul and exotic instruments on show

The railway workers’ district and the Le Passage à Levels social center will be the rap landmarks for this music festival. Between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., the three rappers Niklaas, Support Intellect and Gwen will perform on the open stage set up for the occasion. MG Funky Band will create, as its name suggests, a funk atmosphere at Place Rabin from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. On the Grand’Place, Guilty Delight will play soul in the middle of the evening. Earlier, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., you can discover Fred Lelong and his bagpipes on the square in front of the Town Hall. Meanwhile, on rue Grosse tête, Croqueux d’notes will play his djembes.
