Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks lands a contract for 1,500 Zetros for the Canadian army

Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks to produce more than 1 500 Zetros trucks for the Canadian Department of National Defense. These vehicles will be intended for all-terrain transport of goods and personnel for the Canadian armed forces. The consortium “ The Power Team ”, composed of Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, Marshall Canada, Soframe, Manac and General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada (GDLS-Canada), will collaborate on this project as part of the “Logistics Vehicle Modernization” (LVM) program.

The Zetros will be produced in Wörth-am-Rhein

The Zetros will be produced at the Mercedes plant in Wörth-am-Rhein. Marshall Canada will manufacture interchangeable mission modules, Manac will provide trailers, and Soframe will provide vehicle armoring. GDLS-Canada will act as the main integrator of the project. Canada will receive over 1,000 light (4×4) Zetros and approximately 500 heavy (8×8) Zetros.
