It is a unique evening which will take place in Brive la Gaillarde, on Saturday November 30, 2024. An evening where parents, as well as children, will be able to enjoy a concert: this is the whole concept of the Hit Générations Evening, which will take place on the side of the Three Provinces Area. With the cast: Yanns, the L5, Tribal King, Willy Denzey, and Génération Boys Band.
“I really wanted this family context”
This eclectic programming was a real desire on the part of Julie Josset, organizer of this concert at JCI Production. “This concert, in fact, I wanted it to be a family concept, where children can come and enjoy a concert with their parents. Hence the programming with Yanns, particularly for children, who is an artist who has been widely known with Clic Clic Pan Pan and who was also known via the film “A little something extra.” There are lots of other things happening, lots of things coming out. There is also a return to basics for parents, with “the older generation”, with the L5, Génération Boys Band… I really wanted this family context”.
Enough to delight the public of Brive la Gaillarde, who will therefore be able to enjoy a concert during this end-of-year period, just before the holidays. “Why do this in Brive? Quite simply because I'm from Brive, and at this time of year there wasn't much going on there… So we said why not, we're going to to attempt !” says Julie.
A choice of artists with… his daughter
But besides: how does the choice of artists go for this type of event? Julie told us her secret for this evening. “In reality… It was my daughter who helped me choose”she confides. “It's funny, she's 4 years old, but as a result she listens to Yanns on repeat. She asked me to bring him. That's when I said to myself: OK, but it would be interesting to bring him in a family concept And then, I asked myself the question of what I listened to when I was a teenager. The names came very quickly afterwards.she concludes.
