Three children were found dead in a house located in Taninges, in Haute-Savoie, the gendarmerie said this Tuesday, November 12 in the early evening. The victims' mother is being sought.
This Tuesday, November 12, the bodies of three children were discovered in a house in Taninges, in Haute-Savoie, AFP learned from the gendarmes and firefighters. The victims are said to be aged 2, 11 and 13. The alert was given around 12:30 p.m. by the father of the three children.
On site, emergency services could only note the deaths. According to Le Dauphiné Libéré, at the origin of the information, the hypothesis of a family tragedy would be favored. Currently, the mother of the three victims is being sought. The latter, depressed, would have left a letter then taken the direction of the mountains surrounding Taninges.
An investigation was opened by the Bonneville public prosecutor's office and is entrusted to the gendarmerie. This aims to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
Still according to our colleagues, around sixty gendarmes are mobilized, including soldiers from the Bonneville company, the Chambéry Research Section, the Departmental Road Safety Squadron (EDSR) and the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon ( PGHM) as well as technicians from the Haute-Savoie criminal identification unit (CIC).
