Two thirty-year-olds from Grigny, a town in the Lyon region, recently appeared at the Gap judicial court for acts which took place on November 9, 2018. During a gendarmerie road check in Saint-Firmin-en-Valgaudemar, two vehicles are controlled, driven by the two defendants.

In one of them, the dog trained to search for narcotics marks different places in the vehicle; insistent, he discovered the sum of 20,600 euros hidden in the spare wheel. 20 and 10 euro notes carefully packaged in around twenty plastic bags. It turns out that the tickets are impregnated with the odor of cannabis.

However, no narcotics were found. The deputy public prosecutor, Violaine Perrot, invoked “a bundle of clues” to condemn the two accused.

A father and his son living in Sisteron

At the start of the hearing on Thursday June 13, there were four of them appearing in this joint case. Only two were tried because the other two, a father and his son, the latter living in Sisteron, were sent back to the Gap court for the hearing on December 12.

During the son’s detention at the Gap remand center, telephone tapping was ordered by the investigating judge in the visiting room. Which were canceled. Nevertheless present in the file studied by the judges.
