A plane escorted by two Mirages was seen this morning along the coast from Cap Corse to the Bastia region. His passage may have raised questions. This is, according to our information, a military exercise.

You may have seen them passing in the sky over the Bastia region, around 11:30 a.m. this Monday, June 17. The passage of three planes side by side, namely an A330-2 plane escorted by two Mirages, has in any case generated many questions among the population.

According to our information, it was a military exercise: taking advantage of the passage of a military air transport plane, which was coming as part of a planned rotation in the Corsican sky in order to transport soldiers and equipment, two Mirages carried out an exercise to intercept a plane in mid-flight.

A maneuver intended to drive this unit in the event that the need to stop a device arises.
