The incident occurred on October 4 at the check-in counter of the national airport. The traveler wanted to check in for his flight, but he arrived too late. “The plane was already at the gate and the passengers were about to board, so it was simply impossible to check it in“, the airport employee said in court. “It takes at least fifteen minutes to get from the check-in counter to the boarding gate, he would never have made it.”

The traveler was then informed that he would miss his flight and the employee suddenly received a violent blow to the face. One of his colleagues and the police managed to arrest the defendant before he left the airport. “Airport staff face verbal attacks almost daily and that’s bad enough.” declared the prosecution. “This is why we have zero tolerance when it comes to physical aggression.”
The court followed the prosecution’s indictment and imposed a sentence of six months in prison.
