While summer is due to begin in four days, the weather still doesn’t seem to be up to par in Paris. Locally violent thunderstorms are forecast in Paris and the inner suburbs during the night of Monday 17 to Tuesday 18 June 2024 in Paris. The weather forecast for Tuesday also does not look sunny.

Gusts up to 90 km/h

Indeed, Meteo France indicates that a risk of storms coming from the South-West should arrive in Île-de-France this night and has rightly placed Paris and the inner suburbs on yellow alert for thunderstorms, with a risk of hail in places. Gusts could reach up to 80 or even 90 km/h.

Tuesday will be the first day of Paris Fashion Week and the morning will be marked by a slight lull. The latter will however be short-lived since showers are forecast in the afternoon with potentially new storms in the early evening. Weather that is expected to last all week, leading to fears of a rainy Music Festival June 21st.
