After a first point taken in Arsac-Le Pian on October 26 (2-2 having come close to victory) then a qualification for the regional cup after overthrowing (2-1) Argentat, a Regional 3 team, the Nontronnais hoped for a first success in the championship this Saturday evening, against Pessac Alouette. Especially since until then, in the ranking, the Pessacais also had only one point.
After the departure of Gilles Valadié and a transitional situation which saw president Vincent Thomas take his place on the bench, the ASNSP had also found a new coach in the person of Jacky Degroise.
