The sports logging championship is coming to France for the first time. Saturday November 9, 2024, the Zénith de Toulouse was transformed into the kingdom of the chainsaw, the saw and the axe.
With axes, saws and even chainsaws, the world logging championships won over the public in Toulouse: “What we like is the atmosphere and the fact that there are big muscles”rejoices a spectator. Competing are 13 athletes from the United States, Australia, New Zealand and northern Europe. Most are colossi of 1m90 and more than 100 kg.

A Californian wins, his dream comes true and he hopes that this extreme sport will be considered an Olympic discipline. Maybe this has a chance of happening for the next Olympic Games which will take place in Los Angeles (California).
