The commune of Houga (32) is located to the west of the Gers department, 6 km from the limit with Landes. In 2024, the 75th edition of the holiday cycling grand prix, under the aegis of the French Cycling Federation (FFC), will be organized by the Montois Cycling Club, chaired by Jean Pierre Cassen. A road cycling race open to Open 2 and 3 – Access, it is scheduled for Saturday June 29. The competitors will challenge themselves on a circuit whose lap length is 5.8 km to be covered 15 times. Departure: arrival of the race to the podium. The bibs will be distributed from 2 p.m. at the podium to all competitors in all categories. The start of the competition will be at 3:30 p.m. in front of the podium. Fans of the “little queen” are of course invited to Houga to mark their presence on the starting line, but also on the course to provide encouragement to all these amateur cyclists, and naturally on the finish line. Once again, all these quality amateur cyclists will put on a show throughout this sporting afternoon, as always, of course, with free access to the public.
