Multidisciplinary medical caravan for the benefit of 160 beneficiaries

Some 160 people benefited from the services of a medical caravan to raise awareness and early detection of breast and cervical cancer, as well as eye diseases, organized at the weekend at the health center in the commune of Laghdira in Bir Jdid (El Jadida province).

This caravan, organized by the Prefectural Committee for Human Development (CPDH) of El Jadida, in partnership with the Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection of El Jadida and the mobile and rural health unit, is part as part of the celebration of the 19th anniversary of the launch of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).

According to the head of the social action division at the prefecture of the province of El Jadida, Hakima Erraï, this operation is part of the implementation of program 4 of the INDH relating to the impetus of human development of rising generations, in order to enable a certain number of women and children to benefit from this awareness campaign and early detection of breast and cervical cancer as well as eye diseases.

In coordination with the Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection, the INDH organized several medical caravans in many communes of the province of El Jadida, targeting women and children and aiming to support the human capital of generations future, she recalled.

Note that this medical caravan was provided by a team made up of medical and paramedical executives, including three general practitioners, two doctors specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, three midwives, an ophthalmologist, technicians specializing in vision correction, a technician of the mobile health unit and three nurses.
