Who is a candidate in the Doubs department, from Besançon to Baume-les Dames, Ornans, Pontarlier, Montbéliard, Morteau? The early legislative elections caused by the dissolution of the National Assembly following the results of the European elections will take place on Sundays June 30 and July 7. In a short time, RN, Republicans, Macronists, from the PS to LFI, on the left and on the right, the parties had to find candidates. Here they are.

In 2022, during previous legislative elections, the candidate of the union of the left Nupes – La France Insoumise Séverine Véziès came first in the first round with 29.78% of the votes, ahead of the candidate of the presidential majority Modem Laurent Croizier, who totaled 26.75% of the votes. voice. Finally, the LFI candidate was beaten by Laurent Croizier in the second round, he obtained 51.88% of the votes.

Eric Alauzet, outgoing deputy of the presidential majority, is not running for re-election. In 2022, during previous legislative elections, he came second in the first round with 31.36% of the votes behind the EELV-Nupes candidate Stéphane Ravacley who had convinced 32.51% of voters. Finally, Éric Alauzet was re-elected in the second round with 52.26%.

Finally, Nicolas Pacquot was narrowly elected in the second round with 50.83% ahead of the far-right candidate.

Remember that during these legislative elections, we will elect 577 deputies in France for a 5-year mandate. It is an election which will take place in two rounds unless one of the candidates wins more than 50% of the votes in the first round in a constituency. To be able to remain in the second round, a candidate must obtain in the first round a number of votes at least equal to 12.5% ​​of the number of voters registered in the constituency.
