The prefectures of Corsica formalized, this Sunday, June 16, the list of 33 candidates for the legislative elections of June 30 and July 7, 2024.

This Sunday, June 16, marked the close of candidacy submissions for the early legislative elections of June 30 and July 7. A draw was carried out in the prefectures of Ajaccio and Bastia in order to establish the display locations of candidate panels in the four constituencies of the island. This draw above all made it possible to finalize the list of contenders for the national assembly.

33 candidates appear in the 4 constituencies. The final list will only be finalized this Monday, June 17 by order of the prefect, pending the exhaustion of the appeal deadlines. This Monday the propaganda commission must also be held to validate bulletins, posters and professions of faith. The first round is set for June 30 and the second for July 7.
