The arrival point is a starting point. For this Switzerland which has emerged from ten months of doubt, there is the rediscovered happiness of a path that is being written. The 3-1 victory against Hungary, the embodiment of pride on the pitch, in the stands of Cologne with nearly 12,000 supporters once again delighted, it was a decisive moment. Switzerland needed this, Murat Yakin first and foremost. But it is not an end in itself and on the train which brought the national team back to its lair in Stuttgart that same evening, beyond the feeling of joy which enveloped the selection, there floated an idea of the future. She had been strangled for a long time.
