Founder of the western village of Gers, Carchet City, located in Aignan, Jean-François Vayrac, alias “Jeff”, went to cowboy paradise.

His name was Jean-François Vayrac but everyone knew “Jeff”. In his active life, he rubbed shoulders with criminals; in “his” village, they are outlaws, bandits, whom he encountered in his sheriff’s office.

“Jeff” the enthusiast left for cowboy paradise as fast as a galloping horse, leaving behind a whole tribe of cowboys, Indians, criminals and friends.

Carchet City, in Aignan, was his work, his last achievement. Passionate about westerns since he was little, “Jeff” made his childhood dream come true by creating on his land, with a group of friends including Achdé (designer of “Lucky Luke”), his western village in the heart of the Gers.
