Discover the Ardèche in a new light with the spring events, until June 22. A series of 10 unique and rarely offered visits, organized by a collective of Ardèche partners. These excursions will offer an authentic and lively vision of the region.
The golden ticket
To participate, registration is required. In addition to living unforgettable experiences, your loyalty will be rewarded. In fact, by participating in at least three Destination Ardèche meetings, you will receive an annual Ardèche pass, giving free access to 40 tourist sites in the region. To obtain this pass, all you need to do is take a photo during each visit. For the most passionate, those who complete 9 of the 10 visits will be offered the prestigious Ardèche golden ticket. The latter includes additional benefits in various tourist sites, as well as a free night in Gîtes de France. Participants will also be required to provide a photo from each visit by July 10.
But that’s not all ! On Sunday June 16, go to Lalouvesc to celebrate the anniversary of the canonization of Saint Jean-François Régis. The day will begin with the Solemnity Mass at 10:30 a.m. In the afternoon, the tourist office, in partnership with the sanctuary and the Propolis association, offers unique tours of the original plans of the Basilica and the Saint Ignace Chapel, designed by architect Pierre Bossan. These plans will be freely accessible at the Saint Ignace Chapel.
Joséphine, the bumblebee
Among other attractions, discover Joséphine, the bumblebee resounding up to 20 km around, and enjoy panoramic views from the tower of the Maison Saint Régis. You will also be able to explore the dormitories of the pilgrim shelter and relive the moments of summer camps.
Don’t miss the photo exhibition by Jean-Marie Hosatte around the basilica. Visits and activities will be accessible from 1:45 p.m. to 6 p.m., with specific slots for each activity. The full price is €2, intended for the renovation of the basilica.
