The fourth edition of soap box racesorganized by the German school associations, Show’mot, ASG and badminton, will be held on Saturday June 22, 2024, in addition to the festivities of Saint-Germain-du-Pinel (Ille-et-Vilaine).

More than a dozen soap boxes

These associations, whose aim is to promote entertainment to create links between residents, are working hard to make this event a memorable moment.

This year, more than ten soap boxes are being manufactured. “We hope to do as well as last year, or even better,” confides Fabrice Labbé, the president of Ogec.

There is still time to register to participate in this friendly event by calling 06 18 08 42 21. The departure of the cars will be at 2 p.m. rue du Stade, at the cemetery car park, for an arrival on the Route de Gennes, before the place called Beauregard.

Additional entertainment

“It makes a circuit of around 400 m and as it is the same as last year, it can make for a great competition. At the end of the races, there will be the distribution of prizes for the most beautiful cars, the best disguises and the fastest,” explains Fabrice Labbé.
